Yay, you colored Timpani! You did a great job coloring her, she looks so pretty. ^^ I love the dress and the purple color.

Wow! She looks so pretty! She dressed so beautiful just like Girls Aloud in the "Can't Speak French" video! It's weird that you and the band's costumes got inspired from Marie Antoinette. I wonder how will Blumiere react when he sees Timpani dressed like a traditional French lady? Man, staring at her makes me wanna listen to "Can't Speak French" again! I don't like the colour purple but it does suit her. I’m glad that you’re sticking with the usual shading, colouring and putting highlights everywhere on her. She looks so stunning and elegant, I bet Blumiere will stand at the doorway being very speechless and then suddenly runs out once he sees her dressed incredibly classy like if she’s from the 18th century. I’m pretty sure that her hairclip or hairpin and her earrings represent her Pixl form as Tippi. I always pictured her as a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed maiden with long, flowing hair. She would be dressed extremely upper-class and sophisticated, kinda like your version of Timpani but different. Where do you think she got that gorgeous gown from? Maybe her husband bought it for their anniversary or her birthday?

I still don’t get the reason why she’s wearing purple. What does mean by “Timpani could be purple for spirituality and she has moved on as a spirit!”? Yeah, normally for most people Timpani wears white which could symbolize parts of her wings when she’s a Pixl. How long did you spent on doing the entire artwork? What materials did you use? As in either watercolours, marker pens, oil pastels, felt tip pens etc. I’m just being very curious, I wanna know. When I looked closely, it looks like she has some pink blush on her face and she’s wearing a little bit of pink lipstick. Have you played Mario Kart Wii? Rosalina has returned in another game which is the latest Mario Kart game. I’m playing it currently and I’m enjoying the perks of racing and battling against my friends and the world online. If you wanna ask me what the game is like, just ask me in my newest journal entry. Mario Kart Wii has become another favourite Wii game. Anyhoo, I’d be happy to send “Can’t Speak French”, “Can’t Speak French – Radio Edit” and the French version, “Je Ne Parle Pas Français” to you by e-mail if you want. Hahahaha that sounds like a really, really fun drawing theme right there!

Personally, I don't see Timpani with blonde hair (because for one, there's enough blondes in the Nintendo franchise even if its just two haha), because thats too typical princess-like and Timpani is 'an ordinary girl' so I would think brown suits her fine but everyone has their own interpretation of her of course.

And the reasoning behind purple (other than my original intention for no significant reason) is because "Tippi" was a pixl made from her soul right? And yanno, spirits = souls pretty much and when she was reunited with Blumiere she transcended that and became a human again or maybe something more than that.

And oh, I used Paint Shop Pro to color it but with various brushes, including a watercolor one. I lack the skills to color it by hand but I'm really glad you noticed the subtle lipstick! I'm guessing it took me abouttt two hours to color.

And ooh yes! I have recently acquired Mario Kart wii and it is fun despite my horrible driving skills haha. Oooh lemme know if you'd like a racing partner and I'll add you! ^_^!

I can’t help myself but send anybody such long comments. You should do that drawing theme. I’m sure Blumiere ran off ‘cause he was blushing bright red and he doesn’t want Timpani to see him go red. Secretly, he likes that dress of hers but he didn’t have the courage to give her a compliment. I could picture like this:

Timpani: Hi Blumiere! What do you think of this dress? I think purple suits me very well, don’t you think?

(Blumiere stood at the doorway, staring at her in her dress. He was incredibly speechless and started to blush brightly)

Blumiere: I-I-I… Please excuse me.

(He suddenly ran out of the room, leaving Timpani standing there. She then cocked an eyebrow and had on a baffled expression on her face after a brief moment of silence)

Timpani: Was it something I just wore right now?

Poor, poor Timpani. She must have thought that her husband was put off by her dress ‘cause it might have reminded him of the customs of his tribe or his past. But in reality, Blumiere actually loved the dress but he doesn’t have the heart to tell her what he thinks of it yet.

I know, I think they are more than one blonde females including Baby Peach. I guess, but some people do for blondes. I know, everyone has their own version of her.

Yeah, I think she was made from her soul by Merlon. I guess she isn’t a spirit or a soul anymore when she was reunited with Blumiere. She must have gained her human form back and looked like herself from the past.

I don’t have that program but I think I’ve heard of it. What kind of brushes did you use and the graphical techniques? Seems like you’d rather colour her in on a graphics program than doing it by hand. It does seem that she is wearing lipstick and blush on her cheeks.

Well, duh! Everyone knows that his skin colour would be blue! I’m sure he’s has that colour even after being Count Bleck for a long time. I wonder what Timpani sees in him? I always give anyone a lengthy comment. I just want you to know that my upcoming songfic, “Can’t Speak French” is just around the corner and should be submitted on 26th May. I’m sure my birthday mate will love it!
